The Ron Burton Training Village (RBTV) has affiliations with many institutions of higher education. It is the high standards and values of the camp that has attracted recruiters from: Stone Hill College, Bentley College, Northern Michigan University, the Air Force Academy, West Point and the Naval Academy.

Through these affiliations RBTV is able to provide the opportunity to full scholarships for a select number of campers that live the creed of the camp: Love, Peace, Patience and Humility.
The Air Force Academy , West Point and the Naval Academy are on the grounds of the camp through out the summer season to provide motivation, direction and insight into the life of the students in these academies. Campers are able to meet with administration personnel in a very personal and relaxed atmosphere.

In 2006, RBTV had the pleasure of Lieutenant Davede Alexander as well as other leaders from the Naval Academy during the 5 week summer session. They provided leadership and guidance as well as assisted campers who were interested in applying to the Naval Academy.
