The Ron Burton Training Village Program is a reflection of the man who designed it, lived it, and passed it on. Ron Burton, Sr., had a dream to start a camp where kids would come to train and attain personal growth in such a way as to succeed in every facet of life. This success, he knew, was far more important than success on a football field. Even as the number one draft choice of the NFL, AFL, and Canadian Football League and the first draft choice of the New England Patriots, Ron, Sr., realized it was his positive lifestyle that helped him succeed even more than his physical training. His life was, and his legacy continues to be, a beacon of guidance and light.
Indeed, it takes a Village. Whether it is a helping hand, encouragement or giving back, it takes all of us to complete this journey.
Over the past twenty - nine years the Ron Burton Training Village (RBTV) has served more than 4000 young men and women in their spiritual, physical and educational growth.
The Ron Burton Training Village is far more than just a sports training program – it is an opportunity to fully engage a child so they make the winning decisions necessary to succeed in life.
Each summer, every camper joins a group of peers, from age 11 to 17, from almost every background and walk of life. For five straight weeks, the camper is trained physically, spiritually, socially and academically to develop habits that will instill confidence, faith, kindness, endurance, strong morals, and positive values.
