Mark Lund is a seasoned media and communications executive with a distinguished career leading some of the industry’s top entertainment and broadcasting organizations. As the Principal of Lund Consulting Group (LCG) in Boston, he leverages decades of expertise in broadcasting, media strategy, sports marketing, local news, and live production to help brands, startups, and businesses develop compelling narratives, engage audiences, and implement growth-focused communication strategies.
From 2012 to 2021, Mark served as President & General Manager of WBZ-TV/CBS Boston, where he was responsible for thousands of hours of live local news, sports, and entertainment programming. During his tenure, WBZ-TV earned prestigious accolades, including the Columbia Dupont Award and the Peabody Award, for its outstanding coverage of the 2013 Boston Marathon Bombing.
Over the course of Mark’s career in broadcasting he has worked with globally recognized organizations and events including the Olympics, The New England Patriots, The NFL, PGA, The Boston Marathon, The Boston Bruins, Celtics, Red Sox, and The Pan-Mass Challenge.
A dedicated advocate for his community, Mark is deeply committed to the power of education and sports in empowering young adults to reach their potential and live their best lives. He actively serves on the boards of The Ron Burton Training Village, The Special Olympics of Massachusetts, and The Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund, supporting initiatives that foster personal growth, leadership, and opportunity.
