Founder, Innovative Catalyst

Walter Weekes, Jr. is an individual that combines strategic vision with practical execution to transform organizations and create value. Currently the founder of Innovative Catalyst, a strategy and innovation firm that supports businesses in their thoughtful evolutions. Prior to Innovative Catalyst, Walter worked for the Black Economic Council of Massachusetts (BECMA), as the Senior Development & Community Relations Manager.

Before joining BECMA, Walter earned his Master’s in Business Administration from Babson College, Olin Graduate School. While at BECMA he also earned Executive Education from Wharton and obtained his undergraduate degree from Assumption University.

Before his MBA, Walter created the “Ready to Work” program alongside the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston, streamlining and enhancing their workforce programming across multiple club sites. Walter leveraged his workforce development experience from the Boston Private Industry Council, after starting his career at Citizens Bank Charitable Giving Foundation, supporting the allocation of funds back into the community.
