One of the top capital markets professionals in the US, Rob Griffin joined Newmark Knight Frank in 2015 as U.S. head of capital markets. He leads a capital markets team offering multiple specialties, including the marketing and sale of office, industrial, retail, medical and multi-family assets. He also focuses on expanding the NKF Capital Markets platform and establishing top-tier teams in foundation cities throughout the U.S. In his 36-year career, Mr. Griffin and his team have closed more than 800 transactions with total consideration nearing $65 billion. Mr. Griffin earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College. An enthusiastic supporter of Boston Children’s Hospital, Mr. Griffin is a vice chair of the Board of Trustees and founding chairman of Champions for Children’s, a multi-million dollar fundraiser for the hospital which has evolved into the hospital’s top annual fundraising event. In 2014, following the unexpected passing of his son Corey C. Griffin, Rob and his family and friends founded the Corey C. Griffin Charitable Foundation, a nonprofit, grant-making organization dedicated to young people, faith and social entrepreneurship. The Foundation endeavors to improve the lives of children through healthcare and education as well as supporting young men and women who share Corey’s passion for entrepreneurship.
